Audible Presence explores the relationship between the time-based approaches to art conceived by three of the most influential artists of the 20th century—Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein, and Cy Twombly—and their connection to auditory experience via music, sound, and silence. The catalogue features essays by Michel Chion, Tacita Dean, and Elena Geuna; historical texts by each artist; and photographs and ephemera uncovered at various international archives, including the Yves Klein Archives in Paris and the Archivio Ugo Mulas in Milan.
